As a resident of Essex County for 28 years, I am familiar with local communities, home values and can save you valuable time and effort in securing financing, insurance and home connections.   For a financial investment as substantial and personal as your home, it’s important to put together the best team possible.  I pay attention, go the extra mile and have the know-how to create opportunities and identify potential pitfalls in a transaction.  I will put my in-depth knowledge of the real estate market, marketing savvy, and professional network to work for you!

Originally hailing from West Orange, with stretches in Jersey City and Plainfield, I’m happy to call South Orange my home for the past six years. My wife, Ramona Kelly, is a make-up artist, and we’ve got two children who flourished in South Orange Middle School and Columbia High School.  A fun fact about me is that back in the 90s, I toured Europe as the bass player for Chubby Checker and I wrote the score for several films.  I also spent years marketing and licensing the music of jazz and classical legends to the film, tv and advertising community.

When taking a breather, my family and I are at the local coffee shops and sandwich stops like Crane’s and the Able Baker, chowing down at our favorite local restaurants like Arturo’s, Coda or St. James Gate in Maplewood, Above in South Orange, Basilico in Millburn; or Raymond’s in Montclair.  We walk in the South Mountain Reservation; I watch my sons play Columbia High baseball games; participate in community groups; hang with friends and neighbors; shop at the local farmers’ market, the bookstore (Words) or the Short Hills Mall.  This year I’m assisting Maplewoodstock in finding advertisers.  We go to SOPAC for music and movies and make our summer pilgrimage to our favorite Jersey Shore spot, Barnegat Light on LBI – or take the train into NYC for some music, shopping, or dinner.  Oh and we love skiing at Sugarbush in Vermont.
