The state of New Jersey is offering a program that allows homeowners to receive rebates up to $4,000 and interest free financing up to $10,000 for energy upgrades to a residential property – Home Performance with Energy Star (HPwES)

The Farmer’s market will return in June, but for those who enjoy the quality of products from Local Farmers and Food Artisans, come on down to the Woodland (60 Woodland Rd., Maplewood) on February 7 from 12-4. They are selling sustainably raised vegetables, pastured meats, eggs, cheese, bread, baked goods, honey, chocolate, coffee, gelato, organic olive oils, bone broths, homemade chili and much more at The Woodland. $3 suggested donation at entry will benefit Slow Food NNJ’s school and community garden fund and Maplewood Loves Wellness.  see link for more info.
